COMMERCIAL TIRE, RETREAD & RECYCLING CONFERENCE

The Tire Industry Association (TIA) co-located a two-day educational program with the American Trucking Associations’ (ATA) Technology & Maintenance Council (TMC) Annual Meeting and Trade Show. This is North America’s largest gathering of fleet maintenance professionals. Exhibits are marketed to the fleet maintenance executive so equipment will not be on display.

This combination of organizations provides an opportunity for attendees to meet and interact with buyers in the trucking industry as well as with professionals from the commercial tire, retreading, and tire and rubber recycling industries.
 

OFFICIAL EVENT WRAP-UP
The first CTRRC Conference was held in Tampa, Florida, February 6-8, in conjunction with the Technology and Maintenance Council (TMC) of the American Trucking Association (ATA). There were 240 registered attendees, including 145 from the commercial/retread market and 95 recyclers who attended the three-day conference and participated in the workshops and recycling tour. Topics ranged from risk management to retreading the new ultra low-profile wide-base tires, and the response
from attendees was extremely positive.
