If you or your child need money for college, apply for the
MICHELIN/TIA SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM
The Michelin/TIA Scholarship will begin accepting online applications January 15, 2007. The application and more information can be found by visiting www.scholarshipprograms.org. The deadline for submissions is March 31, 2007.
Eligibility
Requirements:
- Applicants must be seniors in high school, and must be planning to pursue a post secondary education at an accredited two-year or four-year college, university or vocational technical school.
- Scholarships are available to part-time employees OR dependent children of full-time employees of TIA member tire dealers.
- Applicants must have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale through the CURRENT FALL SEMESTER.
Application Procedure
This year Michelin/TIA will award $5,000 in scholarships to selected students. One $2,500 award (total for four years not to exceed - $10,000) and two $1,250 awards (total for four years not to exceed - $5,000 each).
