Several supporters and TIA staff visited Capitol Hill to discuss key issues currently impacting the tire and automotive industry. The day started with a DOT Briefing at the American Trucking Association (ATA) at 10:00am to discuss infrastructure, de-regulation, and pressing industry issues.
Supporters then headed to their congressional meetings on Capitol Hill to meet with several representatives and their staffers.
The luncheon was held in the Captiol Visitors Center where Jim Hobart served as the keynote speaker.
The "Industry Issues Seminar" was held at the Rayburn House Office Building where some Members of Congress joined to discuss the current state of the industry and where their stand on the issues.
The day wrapped up with a reception where Congressman Steny Hoyer, Democratic Whip gave closing remarks.

TIA will host a luncheon on Capitol Hill, and also that evening a reception for you to talk informally to Senators, Congressmen, and Hill Staffers. There will be no fee for any Washington D.C./Capitol Hill function that day.
