TIA’s Online University Announces New Release of Basic Industrial Tire Service

(Bowie, MD - 12/20/2017) – The Tire Industry Association (TIA), a leader in tire safety, has announced the new release of the Basic Industrial Tire Service (ITS) through TIA’s official online training portal – TIA Online University. The basic level training is designed for all new hires as part of their orientation and experienced technicians in need of documented training.

Produced in 2015, the Basic ITS Course focuses on pneumatic, solid resilient, press-on, and polyurethane-filled tires used in industrial applications. TIA Online University will offer all technicians the flexibility to study at their own pace and provide a more efficient and cost-effective method for training new hires. All of TIA’s Basic Level Programs are available through the TIA Online University and covers tire service for the automotive, TPMS, commercial, earthmover, farm and industrial industries.
