TIA to hold Advanced Earthmover Training Course Jan. 14-17

BOWIE, Md. – The Tire Industry Association (TIA) has announced the dates in 2020 for Advanced Hands-On Training for technicians in the Earthmover and Farm Tire Service industries.

The earthmover classes will take place on Jan. 14-17 at AME International in Brooksville, Fla., and on May 19-22 and July 14-17 at Stellar Industries in Garner, Iowa. The class for Farm Tire Advanced Hands-on Training will take place Aug. 11-14, also at Stellar Industries.

Students will receive comprehensive hands-on training using a service truck, hydraulic tools and a variety of equipment that can aid them in servicing tires. The first day of class will be in a classroom setting, going through videos and workbooks. The remaining three days will be hands-on training.

TIA’s goal is to have the students leave with comprehensive knowledge that can only come from a combination of formal and hands-on learning, the association said. Students successfully completing a final exam will receive a Certificate of Completion.
