BOWIE, Md. – The Tire Industry Association (TIA) has opened online registration for the 67th Annual Off-the-Road (OTR) Tire Conference, the premier gathering for professionals in the global earthmover tire, retreading and service industries.
The conference will take place Feb. 23-26, 2022, at the Hilton Sandestin Beach Golf Resort and Spa in Miramar, Fla., and will feature motivational speaker Jeff Glasbrenner, a Paralympian and the first American amputee to successfully climb Mount Everest.
Attendees including leading manufacturers, tire dealers, retreaders, suppliers and service providers will come together for three days of work and play. The conference will feature three half-days of educational sessions, with the full lineup upcoming. In addition, there will be leisure options ranging from a golf tournament to a private dolphin cruise. Finally, Glasbrenner will speak on how he learned to overcome obstacles at an early age when, at eight years old, he was involved in a farming accident that left him a below-the-knee amputee.
“After the COVID-19 pandemic forced the cancelation of the 2021 OTR conference, we are excited to once again offer the earthmover tire industry a chance to gather, conduct business, network and learn,” said Roy Littlefield, TIA CEO. “Miramar Beach, Fla., along the Emerald Coast, offers a beautiful backdrop for three days of educational sessions, leisure and what promises to be an inspirational speech by Jeff Glasbrenner.”
