SEMA Show Offering Early Bird Registration Rates

BOWIE, Md. – Planning to attend the Global Tire Expo (GTE)/SEMA Show this fall in Las Vegas? Register at http://www.semashow.com by June 30 and save some money.

The Specialty Market Equipment Association (SEMA) is offering a $40 rate for anyone registering for the massive automotive aftermarket trade show through June 30. After that date, the fee goes up to $60. It increases even further, to $120, on Sept. 30. GTE/SEMA takes place Oct. 31-Nov. 3 at the Las Vegas Convention Center, in Las Vegas.

The Tire Industry Association partners with SEMA in the Global Tire Expo – Powered by TIA area of the trade show, which houses the tire and wheel section. GTE is located on the lower level of the South Hall of the Las Vegas Convention Center.

GTE/SEMA annually attracts more than 100,000 attendees and around 2,000 exhibitors to the trade show.

Along with registering for the show itself, TIA also invites attendees to participate in its preshow events. These activities begin on Sunday, Oct. 29, with a TopGolf Challenge TIA Government Affairs Benefit at TopGolf of Las Vegas from 2:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. The cost is $150 per golfer, or $900 for a private bay (six golfers).

The next day, Monday, Oct. 30, TIA holds its Annual Membership Meeting and Tire Industry Honors Cocktail Reception and Awards program at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino, which serves as the association’s host hotel for its pre-show events. These events are free, but attendees must register to attend.

TIA also is offering special hotel rates at Planet Hollywood. Prices in the TIA room block are:

  • Saturday, Oct. 28: $219
  • Sunday, Oct. 29 - Thursday, Nov. 2: $199
  • Friday, Nov. 3: $229

The room rates do not include a daily resort fee of $45.00 per day plus tax, which will be collected upon check-in.
