Tire Industry Association Releases 2025 Training Schedule

BOWIE, Md. – The Tire Industry Association (TIA) is proud to announce its comprehensive 2025 Training Schedule, featuring specialized programs for tire technicians and leadership training for industry professionals. With a mix of technical and leadership-focused classes, TIA’s offerings aim to elevate safety, knowledge, and skills across all levels of the tire industry.

From Automotive Tire Service (ATS) to Earthmover Tire Service (ETS), Commercial Tire Service (CTS), and Farm Tire Service (FTS), as well as partnerships with MOHR Retail for leadership training, TIA ensures well-rounded professional development opportunities.

Automotive Tire Service (ATS)

Specializing in passenger and light truck tire service, the ATS program emphasizes safety, efficiency, and professional-grade techniques.

Key Dates and Locations for ATS Advanced Instructor 400 Level Classes:

  • March 18-21: Detroit, MI
  • May 20-23: Long Island, NY
  • Aug. 5-8: Seattle, WA
  • Sept. 23-26: Columbus, OH
  • Oct14-17: Charlotte, NC
  • Nov. TBD: Los Angeles, CA
  • Dec. TBD: Baltimore, MD

 

Commercial Tire Service (CTS)

The CTS program provides in-depth exploration of practices like wheel assembly, jacking/lifting, lock-out/tag-out and adherence to the U.S. Tire Manufacturers Association (USTMA) guidelines.

Key Dates and Locations for CTS Instructor 400 Level Classes:

  • April 15-18: Brooksville, FL
  • May 13-16: Youngstown, OH
  • Sept. 30 – Oct. 2: Youngstown, OH (Women’s Only)
  • Dec. 9-12: Brooksville, FL

 

Advanced Hands-On Earthmover Tire Service (ETS)

Focused on advanced procedures, the ETS 200 level program teaches service truck operation, hydraulic tool usage, and the service of three- and five-piece wheels both on and off machines.

Key Dates and Locations for Advanced ETS 200 Level Classes:

  • May 6-9: Brooksville, FL
  • May 20-23: Garner, IA
  • July 22-25: Garner, IA
  • Dec. 16-19: Brooksville, FL

 

Certified Earthmover Tire Service Instructor (ETS)

The ETS Instructor 400 Level program includes training on safety, OTR tire handling, and tubeless demounting/mounting procedures.

Key Dates and Locations for ETS Instructor 400 Level Classes:

  • June 10-13: Garner, IA
  • Aug. 5-8: Garner, IA

 

Advanced Farm Tire Service (FTS)

The FTS program offers instruction in demounting, mounting, and inflating agricultural tires, as well as safety and service truck operation.

Key Date and Location for Advanced FTS 200 Level Class:

  • June 24-27: Garner, IA

 

MOHR Retail Leadership Training

In collaboration with MOHR Retail, TIA brings leadership development programs tailored to tire industry professionals. The curriculum focuses on leadership styles, communication, performance management, and effective supervision techniques.

Key Dates for MOHR Retail Programs:

  • March 4 - April 22: Retail Tire Store Leadership (RTSL)
  • Sept9 - Oct. 28: Retail Tire Store Leadership (RTSL)
  • Sept. 16 – Oct. 14: Retail Multiunit Leadership (RML)
  • Oct. 1 – Nov. 19: Commercial Tire Store Leadership (CTSL)
