BOWIE, Md. — The Tire Industry Association (TIA) is proud to announce its 2026 Training Schedule, featuring an impressive lineup of advanced technical and instructor-level programs designed to promote safety, professionalism, and workforce development across the tire industry.
Notably, 2026 marks the first time TIA has included an Industrial Tire Service (ITS) course as part of its official training schedule, reflecting the association’s continued commitment to expanding education opportunities across all segments of the tire industry.
While additional classes will be announced as the year progresses, this initial release represents the majority of TIA’s planned 2026 training offerings, providing tire professionals with early visibility into upcoming opportunities for education and career advancement.
From Automotive Tire Service (ATS) to Commercial Tire Service (CTS), Earthmover Tire Service (ETS), Industrial Tire Service (ITS), and Farm Tire Service (FTS), TIA’s 2026 programs deliver comprehensive, hands-on training for experienced technicians and instructors across all industry segments.
Automotive Tire Service (ATS)
Specializing in passenger and light truck tire service, the ATS program emphasizes advanced safety practices, efficiency, and professional-grade service techniques.
Key Dates and Locations for ATS Advanced Instructor 400 Level Classes:
Commercial Tire Service (CTS)
The CTS program provides in-depth instruction on critical service practices such as wheel assembly, jacking and lifting procedures, lock-out/tag-out protocols, and adherence to U.S. Tire Manufacturers Association (USTMA) guidelines.

Advanced Hands-On Earthmover Tire Service (ETS)
Focused on advanced procedures, the ETS 200 Level program covers service truck operation, hydraulic tool usage, and the service of multi-piece wheels both on and off equipment.

Certified Earthmover Tire Service Instructor (ETS)
The ETS Instructor 400 Level program includes comprehensive training on OTR tire safety, handling, and tubeless demounting and mounting procedures.

Advanced Farm Tire Service (FTS)
The FTS program offers instruction in agricultural tire demounting, mounting, and inflation, with a strong emphasis on safety and service truck operation.

New for 2026, TIA’s Advanced ITS 200 Level class brings hands-on training to industrial tire service professionals for the first time. The program focuses on safety standards, equipment operation, and best practices specific to material-handling and industrial environments—addressing a growing need for specialized training in this segment.
