Bowie, MD – The Tire Industry Association (TIA) has added its 1000th new member for the year. This is the first time in the organization’s 93-year history that TIA has reached this milestone.
Earlier this month, Leipold Tire, a family-owned independent tire dealer with two locations in the Akron, Ohio area, became the Association’s 1000th member of 2013. TIA Membership Director Wilson Beach contacted Leipold Tire Owner Dennis Leipold to discuss the many benefits of membership with him. “Once I became aware of all that TIA has to offer, it was an easy decision to become a member. I know that TIA is working on behalf of small businesses like mine so it is well worth the annual membership dues,” said Mr. Leipold.
TIA Executive Vice President Roy Littlefield commented, “It is great to know that we have had a record number of new members join TIA this year. We continue to deliver value to our members through our training programs, our advocacy work, and member benefits programs.
