Bowie, Md. – The Tire Industry Association (TIA) has released the 2015 Retread Production Date Code Calendar.
Federal regulations require an identification number that indicates the week and year of production for all retreaded tires. The TIA Retread Production Date Code Calendar is an easy-to-use reference that indicates the correct number for each production week and includes other valuable information, such as load index, speed symbol and ply rating charts.
“We are pleased to provide the industry with this valuable resource which determines the date codes that should be used each week in the production of retreaded tires,” said TIA Senior Vice President of Training Kevin Rohlwing.
