Bowie, Md. - The Tire Industry Association (TIA) has dates set for 5 of its 2015 Automotive Tire Service (ATS) training tour locations. The schedule is as follows:
February 24-27 – Charlotte, N.C.
May 19-22 - Minneapolis, Minn.
June 23-26 – Denver, Colo.
July 14-16 – Chicago, Ill. (3 days only)
September 22-25 – Baltimore, Md.
The ATS Tour will also be visiting the following cities with specific dates still to be announced: San Diego, Calif., Wasilla, Alaska, Portland, Maine, Seattle, Wash., Cincinnati, Ohio, Sarasota, Fla., and Phoenix, Ariz.
These 4-day, in-depth classroom and hands-on training classes educate tire technicians on the proper safety procedures and guidelines for servicing passenger and light truck tire and wheel assemblies. It also includes a full day of instruction on Tire Pressure Monitoring Systems (TPMS). Classes are generally held at local community and technical colleges.
