TIA Announces 2016 OTR Conference Motivational Speaker

Bowie, Md. - The Tire Industry Association (TIA) has announced that Jim Davidson, with Speaking of Adventure, will be the motivational speaker at the 2016 OTR Conference. Davidson’s motivational address will take place on Friday, February 19 and is sponsored by BKT Tires.

As a climber for 33 years, and as a high-altitude expedition leader, Davidson is an expert in resilience. He has been on successful ascents in Alaska, Argentina, Australia, Bolivia, Ecuador, México, Nepal & Tibet.

Along the way, Jim endured an incredible mountain survival situation. That epic story was made into a one-hour TV episode of "I Shouldn't Be Alive", which broadcasts around the world on the Discovery Network. His amazing survival tale, and the lessons he learned from it, are shared in his best-selling book called, "The Ledge". The Ledge was selected one of the Best Books of The Year by Amazon and it won the National Outdoor Book Award.
