Bowie, Md. – The Tire Industry Association (TIA) has announced that the Tropicana Las Vegas – A Doubletree by Hilton, 3801 Las Vegas Boulevard South, will be their host hotel for the 2016 Global Tire Expo – Powered by TIA (GTE). The GTE/SEMA Show will be held Tuesday, November 1 to Friday, November 4, 2016 with TIA’s pre-show events taking place at the Tropicana on Monday, October 31.
Within the last few years, Tropicana underwent a $200 million complete transformation which included a fresh redesign of its hotel rooms, the opening of new restaurants, the addition of a luxury spa and fitness center, as well as a pool that was named one of the best Las Vegas pools. The new Tropicana has been the recipient of numerous awards including TripAdvisor’s Certificate of Excellence, Travelocity’s Excellence Award, and the Las Vegas Review-Journal awards for best hotel rooms and best hotel room value in 2015.
