(Bowie, MD) – The Tire Industry Association, a leader in tire safety, has announced the winners from the 2017 Board of Directors election. Each new member selected will serve on the board for a three-year term and will take office on Monday, October 30th at TIA’s Board of Director’s meeting at Bally’s Hotel in Las Vegas, NV.

Additionally, TIA filled two vacancies with Daniel Childers of TCi Tire Centers in Duncan, SC and Russell Devens of McCarthy Tire Service Company in Wilkes-Barre, PA. Daniel will serve a two-year term and Russell will serve a one-year term.
“We would like to congratulate and welcome our incoming board members,” said Roy Littlefield, executive vice president of the Tire Industry Association. “Each year our members are presented with numerous qualified candidates that makes the selection process even more difficult. We are confident that each new board member will help us strengthen our brand of keeping tire safety first.”
