TIA Welcomes New Director of Marketing and Communications

(Bowie, MD - February 23, 2017) – The Tire Industry Association (TIA), a leader in tire safety, is pleased to announce and welcome LeAnn Harley as the new Director of Marketing and Communications. LeAnn will lead strategic communications initiatives in the areas of membership outreach, public relations, event and program awareness, social media engagement, along with a focus on TIA’s overall online presence.

LeAnn brings over 10 years of marketing and communications experience to TIA, in both the non-profit and for-profit industries. Throughout her career she has developed key communications strategies including, online campaign management that has increased program membership and engagement, public relations outreach that has secured key media coverage, and marketing initiatives to increase brand awareness.

“I am excited to join the Tire Industry Association, especially with its great reputation of making safety and education a main concern for all,” said LeAnn. “I look forward to working with the team while developing creative messaging to increase awareness and involvement.”

LeAnn received a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing at Johnson C. Smith University in Charlotte, NC.

“We are eager to have LeAnn bring her marketing expertise to the TIA team,” said Roy Littlefield,” executive vice president of the Tire Industry Association. “With her innovative and creative approach to communications, we are sure she will become a great asset to the team.”
