BOWIE, Md. – Spaces are quickly filling up for the Tire Industry Association (TIA) and MOHR Retail's Zoom-based online training class for retail tire store managers, assistant managers and leads.
The Retail Tire Store Leadership training program is designed to help tire store managers develop the interpersonal and leadership skills needed to retain, engage and enhance their teams’ productivity and deliver exceptional performance and customer service.
The course is delivered via eight Zoom virtual meetings. Meeting times are 10 a.m. to noon EST on the dates below:
Week 1: Tuesday, October 13 & Thursday, October 15
Week 2: Tuesday, October 20 & Thursday, October 22
Week 3: Tuesday, October 27 & Thursday, October 29
Week 4: Tuesday, November 3 & Thursday, November 5
Coursework will cover four modules: Foundations: Role of the Leader; Setting Performance Expectations; Improving Below-Standard Performance; and Effective Floor Supervision – Coaching in Real-Time. The cost is $750 per student.
Class size is limited to 16 people. “Because there are a limited number of spots, we encourage interested dealers to sign up their managers as soon as possible,” said Christine Hoogenboom, TIA director of training.
Students who attend all eight sessions and do the pre-work will receive a completion certificate.
