BOWIE, Md. –?The Tire Industry Association and MOHR Retail are offering two virtual classes in September for retail and commercial tire store managers looking to learn practical techniques to help them keep their teams engaged, inspired and productive.

The virtual Commercial Tire Store Leadership (CTSL) class will be held Mondays and Wednesdays from Sept. 13 to Oct. 6. This new program was created to provide commercial tire store managers with the same skills the popular RTSL program offers their retail counterparts.

The virtual Retail Tire Store Leadership (RTSL) class will be held Tuesdays and Thursdays from Sept. 14 to Oct. 7.

All class sessions will run from 10 a.m. to noon (EST) and will be delivered virtually via Zoom.

The cost for either class is $750 per student.?Glen Nicholson, a former automotive service technician, tire store manager, district manager and past senior director of retail training for TBC Corp., will teach both classes.

“The feedback from students who have attended the MOHR Retail tire store leadership training classes has been very positive,” said Kevin Rohlwing, TIA senior vice president of training. “We look forward to offering another retail class and are excited about the potential for the commercial class that debuts this month.
