Register for July's Virtual Retail Tire Store Leadership Class

BOWIE, Md. – There are still a few openings for the next class in the Tire Industry Association (TIA) and MOHR Retail’s popular virtual Retail Tire Store Leadership (vRTSL) program, which starts July 13.

The vRTSL program is designed to help tire store managers develop the interpersonal and leadership skills needed to retain, engage and enhance their teams’ productivity and deliver exceptional performance and customer service. The course provides technology-based micro-learning, interactive, real-life, scenario-based modules and practical techniques drawn from national retail research.

The class be held from 10 a.m. to noon every Tuesday and Thursday from July 13 to Aug. 5.

Students who attend all eight sessions and do the pre-work will receive a completion certificate.

The cost is $750 per student. Class size is a minimum of nine and a maximum of 16 people.

The class is taught by Glen Nicholson, a former automotive service technician, tire store manager, district manager and past senior director of retail training for TBC Corp. Additional vRTSL classes will be offered in September and November 2021.
