Revolutionizing Leadership: TIA, MOHR Retail Virtual Tire Store Leadership Class

[Bowie, Md] – As November approaches, we want to remind you about the upcoming sessions of the Tire Industry Association's (TIA) Virtual Retail Tire Store Leadership (vRTSL) program. This program is designed to empower retail store managers with essential interpersonal skills to create connections, coach, and retain associates who consistently deliver exceptional performance and memorable customer experiences.

In today's dynamic business environment, store managers often face a multitude of external factors beyond their control, such as technological advancements, economic shifts, and public health crises. However, vRTSL emphasizes that, amidst these challenges, one area store managers can influence directly is their team, driving a significant impact on business outcomes.

The program spans eight two-hour sessions to comprehensively cover the necessary skills. Priced at $750 per participant, the program includes virtual facilitation, DiSC® assessments, and a 90-day post-training microlearning support system. With facilitator-led virtual training sessions, the class will focus on real-world retail scenarios. Participants benefit from technology-based microlearning, helping to reinforce key concepts and skills.

The vRTSL program is divided into eight sessions, providing a structured and immersive learning experience. Here is an overview of the session topics:

Session 1 & 2: Role of the Leader, Motivation Cycle, Flexing Leadership Roles, Leading vs Managing, and Assessing the Team.

Session 3: Discovering Your Leadership Style with an Online Personalized DiSC® Communication Assessment.

Session 4: Communication Skills, including Mastering the Four Critical Communication Skills.

Session 5: Setting Performance Expectations, focusing on onboarding and ensuring associates understand standards, training, and evaluation.

Session 6: Improving Below Standard Performance, helping associates struggling with poor performance.

Session 7: Effective Floor Supervision, utilizing guideposts and tools to impact customer experience positively.

Session 8: Coaching in Real Time, emphasizing immediate feedback about selling and service.

The final sessions of the vRTSL program for 2023 will be held in November, providing an ideal opportunity for participants to enhance their leadership skills. These sessions are scheduled to begin November 1st.
