Bowie, Md. – The Tire Industry Association (TIA) is proud to announce a special addition to this year’s training schedule – an All-Women’s CTS 400 Level Instructor class taking place September 30–October 2, 2025, in Youngstown, Ohio. This year marks the 10-year anniversary of the very first All-Women’s CTS 400 class, and TIA is commemorating the milestone with a dedicated session aimed at empowering and advancing women in the tire service industry.
Designed for technicians and industry professionals who are looking to become TIA Certified Instructors, the CTS 400 course covers a comprehensive curriculum that includes safety guidelines, step-by-step service procedures, and hands-on training on the proper demounting, mounting, and installation of commercial truck tires.
“Ten years ago, TIA hosted its first All-Women’s CTS class to spotlight the growing presence and importance of women in the tire industry,” said Dick Gust, CEO of TIA. “Today, we’re proud to continue fostering that progress by offering women a supportive, skills-focused learning environment that helps them grow as leaders.”
The 3.5-day training will be led by TIA’s Director of Off-Road Tire Service, Matt White and is open to all women seeking advanced certification. Graduates will be qualified to teach the TIA 300 Level Certified CTS Technician course in the field.
