TIA Opens 2026 Board of Directors Nominations

BOWIE, Md. — The Tire Industry Association (TIA) has officially opened nominations for its Board of Directors. Nominations will be accepted through May 1, 2026, and must be received at the TIA office no later than 5:00 p.m. EDT on that date to be considered.

For added convenience — and to ensure nominations are received in a timely manner — candidates are strongly encouraged to complete the nomination form available online. The form will automatically be routed to the appropriate party for consideration:

Nominees must also submit a high-resolution headshot photograph (.jpg format, 300 dpi preferred) along with the completed nomination form for inclusion on the official Board ballot.

The TIA Nominating Committee will meet following the May 1 deadline to review submissions and select the candidates to appear in the official ballot. The newly elected Board of Directors will be inducted November 2, 2026, during the Global Tire Expo in Las Vegas, NV.

Board positions are open to individuals who are employed by a TIA member company in good standing for at least two consecutive years prior to the election. Eligible companies include manufacturers, tire dealers, wholesale distributors, suppliers, recyclers, and retreaders. Self-nominations are welcome.

Nomination materials should include a summary of the candidate’s accomplishments in the tire industry, as well as any record of service in state or national associations.

TIA encourages qualified members who are passionate about advancing the tire industry to consider serving in this important leadership role.
