BOWIE, Md. — The Tire Industry Association (TIA) is pleased to announce the appointment of Stephanie Mull to its Environmental Advisory Council (EAC), further strengthening the Association’s commitment to sustainability and responsible tire recycling initiatives.
The EAC plays a leadership role in developing best practices that support both environmental responsibility and operational efficiency for tire dealers and retailers. The Council’s mission is to identify and promote recycled manufactured products and environmentally sustainable practices through education and outreach to industry, community, and stakeholder groups.
Mull brings extensive experience in tire recycling and sustainability efforts through her leadership serving as Executive Director with the Tire Recycling Foundation. Her expertise will support TIA’s ongoing initiatives to expand end-use markets and enhance collaboration across the industry.
“I’m honored to join TIA’s Environmental Advisory Council, working to expand the use of recycled tire materials,” said Mull. “Strengthening end-use markets is essential to sustaining tire recycling as a pillar of circularity, innovation, and economic growth. I look forward to working with industry partners to accelerate adoption and create lasting economic and environmental value.”
Through its ongoing work, the EAC continues to address key topics within the tire recycling space while advancing meaningful, real-world solutions. In recent years, the Council has produced several important resources for the industry, which can be found here.
“These initiatives highlight the EAC’s leadership in advancing environmental and sustainability efforts across the tire industry,” said Dick Gust. “With Stephanie’s expertise, we are well-positioned to further expand our impact and deliver meaningful, forward-thinking solutions alongside our industry partners.”
